    Phone video is limited by fixed lenses — smooth motion and reliable subject tracking still need a separate gimbal or a drone, which most people won't carry.

    The catch
    It's China-only at launch with no confirmed global price or date, and the moving arm adds a mechanical part whose durability and repair cost are still unknown.
    What it means for you
    If you shoot a lot of handheld video, watch this closely — but treat it as a proof of concept for now; there's no India or global availability yet, and a motorised arm is a new thing that can fail.

    Two Gboard gestures that make Android typing way faster

    Two built-in Gboard gestures most people never use: slide your finger across the spacebar to glide the cursor exactly where you want instead of tapping three times to fix one letter, and press-and-hold Backspace then swipe left to select and delete whole words at once. Both live under Gboard > Glide typing and have been there for years. 💡

    Placing the cursor precisely on a phone is fiddly, and deleting a sentence one letter at a time is slow.

    Gboard hides two gesture shortcuts under Glide typing: drag across the spacebar to move the cursor character-by-character, and hold Backspace + swipe left to highlight and wipe whole words in one motion.

Everything past that is a digital crop plus AI inventing detail — which is exactly why 'space zoom' moon shots look stunning but fall apart on ordinary subjects. Learn your phone's true optical zoom and use the big numbers to frame a shot, not to trust the detail. 🔍

    Marketing pushes '30x' and '100x' zoom as if it's all real magnification, so people shoot expecting detail the phone can't actually resolve.
    What changed
    The honest breakdown: a phone's optical/periscope lens (commonly 3-5x, up to ~10x on some) is the only true glass zoom; beyond it the phone crops the sensor and uses AI upscaling to guess pixels — which is why extreme zoom looks sharp on the moon (a known shape AI can reconstruct) but mushy on faces or text.
    The catch
    AI upscaling keeps improving and can look great for social sharing, so 'fake' zoom isn't useless — just don't expect real, printable detail past the optical limit.
    What it means for you
    Check your phone's true optical zoom in the specs, stay within it when detail matters, and treat any number bigger than that as framing help, not proof of quality.
