Using the site

By using longpress.news you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. Long Press is published by Swami Guru under BuiltBySwami.

What Long Press is, and is not

Long Press publishes news, analysis and opinion about consumer technology. It is information, not professional advice. Fine Print explains rules and notices in plain language, and it is not legal advice. Buy, skip and wait verdicts in Known Issue are opinion, not financial advice. Prices, plans and availability change, so check the source before you spend money or act on a rule.

Accuracy and corrections

The desk works to get facts right and fixes mistakes on the page. How corrections work, and how to report one, is on the About page and in the Editorial Policy.

Using what Long Press publishes

  • You may read, share and link to any page.
  • You may quote a short passage with credit to Long Press and a link to the page it came from.
  • You may not republish full stories, cards or graphics, or present them as your own.
  • You may not scrape the site at a rate that slows it down for others. The RSS feed is there for readers and feed apps.
  • You may not suggest that Long Press endorses you, your product or your service.

Ownership

The text, graphics, social cards, the Long Press name and its mark belong to Long Press and BuiltBySwami. Names of companies and products mentioned in stories belong to their owners and appear only to identify them.

Long Press links to other sites, including the WhatsApp channel. It does not control them and is not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your data.

Ads and sponsors

Ads are labeled "Advertisement". Paid content is labeled as paid. An ad or sponsor on the site is not an endorsement unless a page says so. More on this is in the Editorial Policy.

No warranty and limit of liability

The site and everything on it is provided as is, with no promise that it is complete, current or always available. To the extent the law allows, Long Press and its publisher are not liable for any loss that results from using the site or acting on what is published.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bengaluru have jurisdiction over any dispute.

Changes

The date at the top changes whenever these terms do. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
